I would like to create HSQLDB 1.8 connection in Eclipser europa DTP. Eclipse DTP is very interesting although it is not sophisticated as Oracle SQL developer. For example, HSQLSB don’t have good UI based application to handle its schema. In this screencast I will explain how to create HSQLDB connection which is to server base database (HSQLDB can be ran as in-process). Currently, I engage in a R&D work that is to evaluate Eclipse based environment for better software construction. Eclipse has been chosen as the core workbench because of its numerous plug-in supports. But while in the literacy survey of this research I have found a great screencast about JDeveloper which is another Java IDE. I was so impress after went through this screencast .
